ingredients
1 cup all purpose flower
½ T baking powder
½ T sugar
¼ t salt
2 eggs
1 stick butter (8T)
¾ cup buttermilk (+/- depending on how lite you like your waffles)
Recipe
1. Melt Butter.
2. Warm up Waffle Iron
3. In one bowl, Mix together 1 cup all purpose flower, ½ T baking powder, ½ T sugar, ¼ t salt
4. In a second bowl, Mix together: 2 3ggs, 1 stick butter (melted), ¾ cup buttermilk
5. Mix liquids with solids just to the point where all ingrediants are wet. Do not try to get rid of the lumps or make a smooth batter.
6. When the waffle iron is hot, ladle in just sufficient batter to fill out the iron when the waffle is done.
Serve with butter, Maple Syrup, jam, bacon, sausages. Freeze and toast. Will keep for a week or longer.
