Most of these recipies were originally intended as guides to preparing delicious food for a single person eating one meal a day, plus, maybe a slice of toast for breakfast when first arising. This is not intended to be a recipe book, but a guide to suggested directions for the single person cooking for himself who knows his own taste preferences. At this time, (towards the end of this life,) delight in food is seen as an obstacle and most of these recipes yield four times what is needed to sustain the body. Many of the recipes call for this families Curry Blend of spices; the addition of this spice blend can usually be irnored or the spices of choice substituted without spoiling the result. Some of these recipes are hand-me-downs from my mother and grandmother.
